In recent years there has been a move towards combining life coaching with counselling, the benefits of combining the two have proved to have been effective in helping individuals to attain their goals and reach their full potential.
“A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline”.
Sessions are individually tailored to each client, as we all have different perspectives of the world. This doesn’t mean that some views are wrong or right but they can be restrictive, hindering the client from attaining their goals and dreams. However, it is within everyone’s ability to reassess those views, which may be self-limiting and decide with the help of a life coach, how to overcome and/or remove those obstacles. A life coach is not a teacher or agony aunt instructing a client on what to do about unsatisfactory issues, but rather offers guidance, by providing the necessary tools and encouragement to help the client to do things for themselves.
I have trained as a Fusion Therapeutic Coach which is embedded in evidence-based core psychological principles this enables clients to face difficulties and emotional barriers with confidence. Looking objectively at issues, exploring unhelpful thought patterns to empower the client to make their own choices without influence.
It is a collaborative partnership which gently encourages exploration of what and how to make positive changes in your life, I will offer support and feedback which will help you to stay focused to achieve your goals.
